USA Today releases coaches’ top 25 ballots; Bob Stoops voted his team No. 6, NIU No. 24
NORMAN — USA Today released each ballot cast for the final coaches’ poll top 25 rankings of the regular season, which will play a part in determining the final BCS standings.
Oklahoma needs Northern Illinois to finish below No. 16; if the MAC champion does finish 17th or lower, OU is headed to the Sugar Bowl to face Florida.
If Northern Illinois creeps into the top 16, OU is out of the BCS altogether and likely headed to the Cotton Bowl, where it would face either Texas A&M or LSU.
