NORMAN — If Oklahoma fans are still bummed by their team’s slide from the Sugar Bowl to the Cotton, they sure aren’t showing it.

OU announced Monday that it has sold out its allotment of tickets for the Jan. 4 Cotton Bowl against Texas A&M, which will kick off at 7 p.m. at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Oklahoma’s original allotment of 12,500 tickets went on sale to season-ticket holders when the game was announced Sunday at 7:45 p.m.

OU requested more tickets from the Cotton Bowl, and those were sold out by 11:45 a.m. Monday. More than 13,000 tickets have been sold through OU.
