  • At 4-1 in the Big 12, Oklahoma is tied for second in the conference race, along with Kansas State and Baylor. (Kansas is in first.)
  • OU’s bench was outscored 44-9. It’s only the fifth time this season the Sooners bench has been outscored. The Longhorns had 25 points come from Sheldon McClellan.
  • Freshman guard Buddy Hield has given at least three assists in the last seven consecutive games.
  • Senior Romero Osby went 9-of-15 from the field and 10-of-11 from the line. The forward has shot 50 percent or better in 10 consecutive games.
  • The win snapped a six-game losing streak to the Longhorns.
