After two weeks of waiting, Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops answered questions about injuries, penalties and a few of his players who wound up getting in trouble with the law.

Who’s In

Offensive lineman Tyrus Thompson – Despite the fact that Thompson was given a personal foul in the Sooners’ final regular season game  for punching TCU’s Stansly Maponga, he will not receive any type of suspension from the team. Stoops said Tuesday that Thompson will not be held from playing in the Cotton Bowl game.

Those injured by ankles  —  Well, at least the majority of those walking around with sprained ankles should be fine to suit up on the Sooners’ final game day of the season. Stoops said the time off helped running back Damien Williams’ limp heal completely and that most of the offensive lineman had no limps or slight limps remaining. Almost the whole offensive line, like Bronson Irwin, Adam Shead and Lane Johnson, suffered a sprained ankle in one point of the season or another.
