Tony Jefferson talks about the possibility of him entering the NFL Draft
Junior safety Tony Jefferson has not made a decision whether or not he’ll enter the NFL Draft after the season.
However, he has entertained the possibility. Here’s the full conversation with Jefferson.
Do you know what you’re going to do past this last game?
As far as what?
Draft wise?
I don’t know.
I’m sure you’ll probably fill out the paperwork with advisory?
Check my grade? Yeah I’ll do that. I’m in no rush, not really worried about it right now. Just enjoying this.
Is it something you’ve thought about at all?
I don’t really think about it. I’m really anticipating this game and just ready to play some football. Not worried about outside stuff. That stuff is going to be there when the game’s over.
Will you talk with family at all? Who’s opinion do you expect to value?
Mine. It’s going to fall in my hands and what I feel like. Of course I’ll ask but it’s going to depend on me. I don’t think any one person is going to sway me. I’m not worried about it.
Do you really enjoy college?
Oh yeah. I love college. That’ll be a huge part of me before the thing’s over. You step out and you turn into a real man. It’s business and there’s no one there to tap you on your hand to tell you ‘No, no, no.’ You up in the big leagues, you get fired. That’s always something you think about too.
