Oklahoma man dies Friday in traffic accident

David Fisher, 39, of Sand Springs, died in a two-vehicle accident about 2:10 p.m. Friday on State Highway 20 and County Road 5905 in Osage County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

A Sand Springs man died Friday afternoon after a two-vehicle traffic accident, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

About 2:10 p.m. David Fisher, 39, was driving a tractor-trailer east on State Highway 20 near Osage County Road 5905. Another tractor-trailer was driving south on County Road 5905.

Nathan Anthony Halom, 26, of Cleveland, failed to stop at the stop sign and hit Fisher's vehicle, troopers said.

Both vehicles went off the road and flipped, troopers said.

Halom and passenger Jimmie Lewis, 22, of Sand Springs, were taken to a Tulsa hospital for treatment of injuries. Neither was wearing a seat belt, troopers said.

Fisher, who was wearing a seat belt, died at the scene, troopers said.
