Testing for dentist's patients draws crowd

Hundreds of former patients of oral surgeon Dr. W. Scott Harrington lined up in occasional rain outside the North Regional Health and Wellness Center on Saturday morning to get tested for HIV, hepatitis b and hepatitis c.

Health officials have said that Harrington may have exposed as many as 7,000 patients since 2007, the earliest that patient records could be found.

Harrington, who has been practicing for 36 years, voluntarily stopped practicing March 20.
