Russell Westbrook assembled yet another all-around performance in the Thunder's 109-99 win at Milwaukee on Saturday night, scoring 23 points with 13 rebounds, 10 assists, three steals and a blocked shot in 37 minutes.
It was the sixth triple-double of his career but first this season.
Westbrook said he was most pleased with his rebounding.
“Just helping the bigs,” Westbrook said. “Helping them get some loose rebounds and leading to breaks.”
Westbrook's 13 rebounds tied his season high. He also pulled down 13 in a win against Utah on Nov. 30.
Westbrook's 10 assists also marked the 16th time this season that he's dished at least 10 assists.
IBAKA SWATS SEASON-HIGH EIGHT SHOTS
Serge Ibaka tallied a season-high eight blocked shots against the Bucks, further extending his league lead over Milwaukee center Larry Sanders.
Sanders didn't block any shots.
“It's not just about that,” Ibaka said. “We lost a tough game (Friday) night. I wanted to just try to play hard tonight and help my teammates get the win.”
