Jay Leno announces he's leaving the 'Tonight Show' Published: April 3, 2013

Jay Leno, host of NBC’s “Tonight Show,” announced Wednesday that he will wrap up more than two decades on the late-night show in Spring 2014, according to USA Today.

Leno also announced that Jimmy Fallon, host of NBC’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” will transition into new hosting duties after his exit.

USA Today reports that programming plans for Fallon’s current 12:35 a.m. ET/PT time period currently are in development and will be announced soon.
