Owen Hart's widow, WWE settle lawsuit

The widow of Owen Hart, the World Wrestling Entertainment performer who was killed 14 years ago as he was being lowered into a wrestling ring, has settled her lawsuit against the WWE, according to The Washington Post.



Martha Hart announced Thursday that she and the organization had reached an agreement over royalties and use of Hart’s name and likeness.

Hart was 34 when he died in an accident during a May 23, 1999 even with the then- World Wrestling Federation in Kansas City, according to The Post.
