Owasso boy drowns in Rogers County pond

Cutter Emmons, 23 months, of Owasso, was at his grandmother's home in Oologah. The woman found the boy in a pond about 7:15 a.m. after she said she noticed he had been missing for about 10 minutes, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

A 23-month old boy drowned Saturday morning in a pond in Rogers County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Cutter Emmons, of Owasso, was at his grandmother's home in Oologah. The woman found the boy in a pond about 7:15 a.m. after she noticed he had been missing for about 10 minutes, troopers said.

The woman pulled the boy from the pond and her son, who had been asleep inside, performed CPR on Cutter, troopers said.

Cutter was taken to a hospital in Owasso where he was pronounced dead.
