Two Oklahoma City mid-high schools host plant sales

Students at Oklahoma Centennial and John Marshall mid-high schools in Oklahoma City are hosting plant sales this month.

Horticulture students at Oklahoma Centennial Mid-High School are selling flowers, vegetable plants and herbs this month.

Sales support the Centennial horticulture club's efforts to landscape the school. Funds also will buy supplies for growing projects next year.

The sale is 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the school, 1301 NE 101. The last day of the sale is April 29.

Also, a community plant sale is underway at John Marshall Mid-High School, 12201 N Portland Ave. The sale is from 3 to 6 p.m. daily through Friday.
