Students at Yukon High School received lessons in safe driving Thursday as part of the Ford Driving Skills for Life program. The program is designed to help address the primary cause of car wrecks that involve teenagers — inexperience. Participants received free hands-on driver training that addressed common mistakes made by teenagers. The program, which continues Friday, also includes demonstrations on the dangerous effects of texting while driving and carrying too many passengers.
