  "I don't think Dallas' move has any bearing on whether the Thunder makes it or not." That maybe true, but the Thunder needed Brendan Haywood as well. Haywood has a $6M salary. The top 4 Thunder salaries (Etan Thomas, Matt Harpring, Nick Collison, Nenad Krstic) each will make an even trade with him. And Washington has a fire sale with its players. Before Dallas was interested, if we offered 1 of the 4 (leaning towards Harpring or Thomas) for Haywood, the Wizards might make a deal, and we might have the inside presence we needed.
