Thunder fans, we have some questions:

I am wondering how i go about to getting the Thunder tickets for $10??? I've heard it talked about so much but I don't know how to get them. Are you able to walk up to the chesapeake ticket booth and purchase them for ten bucks or do you have to sign up for the Fill Up The Ford promotion?? Anyone please help.....wanna go to the game tomorrow....Thunder vs. Bulls

Thunder tickets would always be in demand just like other teams tickets bought by their fans. As a fan we need to support the team. Watching thunder games are fun and enjoyable too.

My first thought is that the Thunder Organization, and Team reflect the very best in both business accumen and professionalism. I must admit when we first got the team, I was a bit worried about how it would be corporately managed, but wow, our team owners and organization have more that proven their quality leadership. We should be very proud of our teams ownership and management group, they are widely viewed as one of the best in the league. (Don't underestimate Oklahoma businessmen) Seattle:) The Thunder arriving in OKC I believe has been the single greatest enhancement to our national image. Everytime I see the team on league pass or a commercial with OKC prominently in the background or KD with OKC on his jersey, man do I get proud. You cannot buy that kind of national exposure. Watching our city grow up with this team is also exciting. We may be the little engine that could now, but I predict OKC will blossom into a city of around 2M with ammenties not ever seen in Oklahoma, forever changing the national perspective. I'ts happening now all around the city. I think in not small part due to the arrival of our NBA team (the Thunder) The fans, what can you say about our fans, simply the best. The entire City and State coming together to support Oklahomas team is what we do in Oklahoma. I could go on but you get the point. We love OUR team and will support it. period

While agreeing with all of the above comments, I'd have to say that the broader view of Oklahoma City's NBA experience should be factored in to answering your questions, John, dating back to the Hornets 2-season run here. During the Murrah Bombing almost all immersed ourselves into community qualities that we had perhaps not known before or at least not as vividly -- the melding impact on those of all walks of life and regardless of economic, racial, religious, political, or other differences, and our city became one. Despite the horrific tragedy, we felt good about that coming together feeling perhaps for the first time in our city's history. It was during the Hornets time here that our community witnessed and experienced those same good feelings in a positive way to a sports team that we, at least for a time, perceived to be our own. In a major way, the presence of the Hornets in Oklahoma City solidified and clarified who we are and perceived ourselves to be.
