Joe, that comment you just made really shows your true colors. The team went up for sale, we didnt steal it. And so what if it soothes painful memories of a horrifc tragedy in the process, how dare you condem people in a city for being happy and having something to be thankful for. The Thunder not only have united OKC but they have unified an entire state that was truly divided because of college football. You still have a professional team in the Mariners. If your so sore about losing a professional team, why not cheer for the one you still have with the breath you waste screaming about the one that left.

I'm a native Clevelander, living in OKC, so I guess I have a unique perspective. Having lost "My" Cleveland Browns to the city of Baltimore through the unscrupulous dealings of the "evil" Art Model, as well as enduring LeBrons "decision" to jump ship to the Heat. I waited for the Browns "return" and suffer with their ineptitude ever since, but I was born a fan and will always be one. As much as I sympathize with Sonics fans, they too must learn to "let go" and work towards getting another team. I don't "hate" the Baltimore Ravens and especially not the people of Baltimore, (whose Colts were pirated to Indy)But I do not root for their team,so I can sure understand the fans in Seattle not rooting for the Thunder.
