The other thing to remember is that only now has Brooks inserted the second unit with playing time and after about 6 games of playing 10 players with more than 4 minutes each and lesser than 30 minutes for Durant and Westbrook, the Thunder's 2nd unit are more settled in playing their kind of game. Injuries can be a result of heavy playing time for the starters and critical for older players, like Duncan and other injury plague players, that is why, it is always good to keep the player rested to minimize injury.
