Oklahoma City schools Superintendent Karl Springer will don a LeBron James jersey next week to pay off a wager he made on the NBA Finals with his counterpart in the Miami school district.

Springer and Miami-Dade County Superintendent Alberto Carvalho made a friendly wager on the outcome of the NBA Finals last June between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Miami Heat. The Heat won 4-1.

Because of Miami’s victory, Springer will teach a group of kindergarten students while wearing a jersey of James, who was the NBA’s Most Valuable Player during the regular season and in the Finals.

Springer will deliver the lesson next Wednesday via Skype from North Highland Elementary School in Oklahoma City.
