Couple use teen son to steal from store Published: April 16, 2013

SAND SPRINGS -- A Tulsa couple used their 14-year-old son to steal dozens of items from a Sand Springs store, authorities said.

The couple, Dion Thomas, 35, and Melissa Jean Greer, 34, were arrested outside the store after a security officer witnessed Greer's son handing over items she placed in her purse or Thomas took from the teen, the Sand Springs Leader reported.

The newspaper said that after they left the store without paying for the items, Sand Springs police arrested them.

Also with the two during the incident was the woman's 2-year-old son.
