6:10 a.m. State Highway 16 about 4 miles south of Wagoner in Wagoner County is flooded. Oklahoma Department of Transportation crews are responding to shut down the highway, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports. Check NewsOK.com for traffic and weather updates.


5:30 a.m. WAGONER – U.S. 69 has been closed due to high water at the Wagoner and Mayes counties line, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports.

The highway is completely under water. Motorists need to avoid the area.

Flash flood watches continue in the area Thursday.
