According to Entertainment Weekly, the CW has renewed Smallville for a 10th season.  The show has performed well in its new time slot this season, on Friday nights. The Geoff Johns-written ā€œAbsolute Justiceā€ from earlier this season set a ratings record, making it the the best-rated CW Friday night since 2008.  The overall ā€œSmallvilleā€ ratings average is 3.12 million, according to TV Guide.
