Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans provide Thor-Captain America team-up at Golden Globes

Despite what was a pretty rough Golden Globe Awards ceremony, Marvel’s superheroes came through looking pretty good last night.

Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans, who will play Thor and Captain America in the movies based on those characters this summer, appeared together and handled their assignment with class.

They presented the best supporting actress in a series, miniseries, or movie, which went to Jane Lynch of “Glee.”

Robert Downey Jr., who plays Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, in Marvel’s films and will appear in “The Avengers” in 2012, had the best line of the night, responding to host Ricky Gervais’ stinging brand of humor.
