Get the best-selling comic of all time, X-Men 1, digitally — provided you don’t already have 14 copies

Marvel Comics has added “X-Men” 1, from 1991, to its digital comic app.  Written by Chris Claremont and drawn by Jim Lee, this comic – which was released with 5 different covers – shattered all sales records for periodical comic sales in the U.S., with sales estimated at nearly 8 million copies.

Finding a print copy at virtually any comic book store should be no problem, but if you want a virtual copy, Marvel has now made this issue – as well as the rest of the “Mutant Genesis” storyline – available on its iPod app.
