The show is from the makers of the global phenomenon Bakugan Battle Brawlers and based on Spin Master Ltd.’s brand-new trading card game. The adventure series follows three teenage friends who are on a quest to find a mystical energy called Kairu.

To win the DVD, send an e-mail with the subject line “Redakai” with your name, address and favorite “Redakai” character to featuresdesk@opubco.com.  We’ll draw a winner on March 23, 2012.

The set includes 13 episodes, “Ky’s Quest” and “The Power of Redakai” special features that provide fans with the story behind Redakai, plus an exclusive BLAST3D trading card included with the DVD.

More information on the card, which is available exclusively with the DVD:

The BLAST3D card included with the Redakai: Conquer the Kairu “The Journey Begins” DVD features a never-before-released version of Harrier, the signature monster for Team Stax’s Maya. With a combined 800 red defense number, this card provides a powerful punch in the Redakai trading card game.

Want to know more about the show? Here’s how Cartoon Network describes it:

Based on the innovative trading card game of the same name, Redakai: Conquer the Kairu is a treasure hunt pitting teen Kairu fighters against each other – on a journey that crisscrosses the planet, with fantastic locales and untold dangers waiting around every corner. In this action-packed odyssey, viewers will follow Ky, a 15-year-old student of ancient martial arts, who embarks on an incredible pursuit to find the Kairu, a primordial alien energy force. Helped by his friends Maya and Boomer, Ky travels the globe looking for the Kairu to protect it from Lokar and his E-Teens, with the hope that one day he will become the greatest Kairu warrior of them all – a Redakai.
