The Black Widow, played by Scarlett Johansson, gets called in from a mission by Agent Coulson, played by Clark Gregg, in a clip from “The Avengers,” directed by Joss Whedon. “Marvel’s The Avengers” will be released in theaters and IMAX on May 4.

Eisner nominations announced
Marvel Comics’ Daredevil leads all nominees for the prestigious Eisner Awards, honoring the best in the comics industry.
The Eisner Awards are given each year during Comic-Con International in San Diego.
The most-nominated work is “Daredevil” from Marvel Comics, written by Mark Waid. It received six nominations. Archaia had the second-most nominated project, “Jim Henson’s Tale of Sand.”
