Art spotlight: Becky Cloonan’s Dracula

“Demo” and “Conan” artist Becky Cloonan has provided illustrations for a new edition of Bram Stoker’s Dracula, on sale this week.

This version of Dracula (Harper Design, $17.99) offers the complete unabridged text of the original book with more than 50 original illustrations in the form of horizontal and vertical panels, spot illustrations, and ornate borders.

The Brooklyn-based Cloonan is an award-winning artist whose work includes the Harvey Award–nominated Pixu, and the Eisner Award–nominated Demo and East Coast Rising.
