Diamond Comics Distributors, Inc., have officially released the best-selling comics for 2012; Diamond is the exclusive distributor for many print comics in the North American direct market.

“The Walking Dead” No. 100 was the top-selling comic through Diamond for the year.   The first “Walking Dead” collection also topped the graphic novels list.  The AMC program remained one of the highest-rated programs on cable in 2012.   Robert Kirkman’s zombie epic becomes the first Image comic to top the charts for the year since 1999.
