Today’s Nerdage gift guide suggestion points out art print possibilities from 20×200.

Here’s a description of their geek-friendly art from a news release:

20×200 uses the internet to make fine art accessible to everyone, and they focus on new and emerging artists. For people looking for cool, affordable gifts, their Geek holiday editions include Hollis Thornton’s pigment prints of Luke Skywalker, Mark Richards’ Apple 1 photos,  and Chad Hagan’s Nonsensical Infographic No.4.

Here’s how the prints are created, from the 20×200 FAQ:

Our prints are created in close collaboration with our artists and artisan printers. The majority are archival pigment prints, made with the most technologically advanced digital printers, using long lasting, stable inks on 100% cotton rag paper.
Occasionally, our artists choose to use an alternate printing technique—letterpress, photographic C-prints or silkscreens, for example. And sometimes our artists offer original works, drawings or paintings, created with materials of their choice.

The details and/or materials of each artwork are noted on its edition page, and the packing slip includes detailed information about the art you’ve purchased.
