Megan Fox takes the No. 1 slot in Nerdage’s actresses with geek appeal.

Despite her moving on from the “Transformers” franchise, the popular actress was the most searched-and-clicked actress name on Nerdage in the past year.

She starred in the comic-based film “Jonah Hex” in 2010, and is set to appear in “Friends with Kids,” co-starring Kristen Wiig, in 2012.  She co-starred with Mickey Rourke in “Passion Play,” released last month on DVD.   Her steamy ad for Armani Code also was released in May.

She’s in pre-production on the new Judd Apatow project, “This is Forty.”  And she continues to express interest in comic-book films; she’s been linked to a film adaptation of Michael Turner’s “Fathom” and expressed an interest in appearing in a film adaptation of “Gen 13.”
