Marvel superheroes come to Club Penguin

Through July 3, kids can play as Marvel Superheroes at Club Penguin, a virtual world for kids from Disney.
In the game, a meteor has hit the island of Club Penguin, powering up a “Destructobot.” Players can suit up their penguins as superheroes including Iron Man, Captain America and Thor.
“Everyone wants to feel special and believe that they can do something that no one else can do. That optimism is what drives both Club Penguin and the Marvel story lines and characters,” said Lane Merrifield, co-founder of Club Penguin and executive vice president of Disney Interactive Worlds, in a news release. Club Penguin is free, though paid memberships are available that provide additional features.
