Marvel revealed concept art for its upcoming “Guardians of the Galaxy” film at Comic-Con International in San Diego.  The art is by Charlie Wen.

The “Guardians of the Galaxy” film is set for an Aug. 1, 2014 release.

Also at Comic-Con, test footage was shown for a planned upcoming “Ant-Man” film to be directed by Edgar Wright.

Furthermore, Marvel announced the subtitles for the “Thor” and “Captain America” sequels.

“Thor: The Dark World” is set for a Nov. 8, 2013 release and “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is set for April 4, 2014.  The “Winter Soldier” subtitle makes it seem extremely likely that the film will draw from Ed Brubaker’s recent run on Captain America, widely hailed as one of the best-ever for the character.
