“G.I. Joe: Retaliation” director Jon M. Chu is in talks to direct a new “Masters of the Universe” film, according to a report at MTV Geek.

The film would be based on the toy property, which features He-Man and his musclebound friends who defend the land of Eternia from the evil Skeletor.   The property launched a 1980s animated series and a 2002 remake.  DC Comics recently launched a new comic-book miniseries based on the property.

The LA Times recently wrote about DC Comics’ Geoff Johns incorporating his childhood character, Sir Laser Lot, into the Masters of the Universe mythos in a digital comic released by DC.

Are you excited to potentially see a new “Masters of the Universe” film?  What characters or situations should be included?
