An X-Man’s sacrifice in “Avengers vs. X-Men” #11 (spoilers!)

The fate of a beloved hero is revealed in today’s “Avengers vs. X-Men” #11, the penultimate issue of the title.  The issue is written by Brian Michael Bendis and drawn by Olivier Coipel.  To avoid spoiling anyone waiting to read the issue, Marvel’s news release on the event is below the cut.  Currently, “AVX” is trending on twitter, so it looks as if Marvel’s event is grabbing some attention in the wake of today’s comic-book events.
