Jess Smart Smiley has created the graphic novel “Upside Down: A Vampire Tale.”

Here’s how he describes the book:

The book stars Harold, a boy vampire who loses his teeth! He meets up with Vermillion – the last witch on earth – and soon finds himself caught up between a piano, a mad scientist and the end of the world!

You can check out Harold in Top Shelf’s Halloween comic, or in the graphic novel itself.  Find out more about Jess Smart Smiley at

If you’re looking for some fun activities this Halloween, Smiley kindly sent along some activity pages – just click on them and print them out!
