Author Robert James Luedke brings his latest graphic novel to Defcon in Tulsa this weekend.  “Rise of the Apostle” is a version of the Book of Acts geared for modern comic book readers, wrapped in a modern action-adventure.

“I don’t try to conceal my faith within the presentation”, Luedkke said in a release.  “As a former skeptic and born-again Christian, I created this series to not only entertain but enlighten.  I’ve received a fair amount of criticism for that and calls to tone down my presentation … but that was not was I was called to do”!

“Rise of the Apostle” will be available at DEFCON-7, in Tulsa, at the Tulsa Convention Center, from Friday Aug. 1st, through Sunday August 3rd.  While at the convention, Luedke will also be giving out a free convention poster commissioned just for his personal appearances.
