Mike Mignola returns to write and draw Hellboy, and Geoff Johns shares with us the Rage of the Red Lanterns.  Nova continues to be entangled in “Secret Invasion,” Todd McFarlane returns to “Spawn,” and the complete Ben Edlund “Tick” is released in trade paperback. Complete list and commentary after the break.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #575

Spider-Man now comes out three times a month – and apparently twice this week, as the annual ships below.  But in this issue, Joe Kelly comes on board with artist Chris Bachalo.  These are both guys who used to be strongly among my favorites, who I haven’t seen as much from lately.  Certainly “Amazing Spider-Man” is a pretty prominent assignment. This issue features Hammerhead as Mr. Negative’s newest enforcer.
