Walsh, Sims among Rivals Top 250

The Rivals Top 250 was released this week and two Oklahoma State commitments made the list of the nation’s top 250 recruits according to the national recruiting website.
Herschel Sims is ranked No. 53 overall. The Abilene (Texas) running back will be an elite addition to the Cowboys already talented young backfield including Jeremy Smith, Travis Miller and Joseph Randle.
J.W. Walsh is ranked No. 114 overall. The Denton (Texas) Guyer quarterback looks like a superb fit for Dana Holgorsen’s offense. He’s saavy, athletic and most importantly a winner.
I think Sims ranking is solid. Recruiting is not that black and white, thus a player being ranked among the nation’s top 50, or right in that area, is special. And clearly Sims is special, so I have no big problem with his ranking.
