STILLWATER– Oklahoma State continues to add versatility to its defense.

Plano (Texas) East safety Lyndell Johnson committed to the Cowboys on Saturday according to multiple internet reports. He chose OSU over offers from LSU, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Arkansas, Texas A&M and others.

At 6-foot-3, 190 pounds, Johnson fits the mold of a versatile safety or linebacker prospect for the Cowboys.

He is the 14th commitment for the Cowboys’ class of 2011.
