With recruiting season in full swing, I will be evaluating all 26 prospects who are currently committed to the Oklahoma State football program. I will go in alphabetical order and will post three or four evaluations per day during the next week.

My evaluations will conclude next Friday when I rank OSU’s commitments including their chances of having an immediate impact in Stillwater.

Dan Koenig, Cape Corel (Fla.)

Position: Offensive tackle

Ht, Wt: 6-6, 260

Vitals: NA

Picked OSU over… Miami (Fla.), Tennessee, Wake Forest, Clemson, Ole Miss, Nebraska and others.

Pros: Koenig is a very athletic offensive tackle with a great frame and very good feet. Finishes blocks well. Shows the ability to pull and looks comfortable finding a target in space. He has the talent to develop into at least two or three year starter and the potential to be a all-league performer.
