Oklahoma State football media guide reveals numbers freshmen will wear

Oklahoma State released its 2012 football media guide online today, which means an update to the official roster and depth chart. One of the first things I wanted to look up was the numbers the incoming freshmen will be wearing.

The number choice that jumped out most? Wide receiver Jhajuan Seales will wear No. 81, Justin Blackmon’s old number. I assumed Seales picked that number, but fellow freshman Victor Irokansi tweeted at me that 81 was assigned to Seales. Isn’t technology great?

Note: Jesse Vester, a wide receiver signee from Stillwater High School, is not on the roster. That means he will begin his college career at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, the school he double-signed with in case he didn’t academically qualify at OSU. Jason Kersey reported in April that this would likely happen.
