Uni Tracker: Orange helmets added to Cowboys’ possible looks
Each week, we’ll look back at what uniform combination Oklahoma State wore and make a prediction for the next game. Nothing scientific about it. All in good fun.
Orange helmets. Finally.
Oklahoma State debuted the new lids — which feature the Pistol Pete logo — as part of an all-orange Homecoming look Saturday against Iowa State.
Now, the Cowboys have 64 possible uniform combinations, with orange, white, black and gray helmets, jerseys and pants all options.
Keep a look out for the orange-black-orange and orange-white-orange combinations this season. Both look pretty sharp on the OSUniTracker.
I don’t think we see orange helmets again this week against TCU. But I do think we will see another new element–the apparently new-and-improved gray jerseys, which now feature black numbers with orange trim instead of orange numbers.
Before making a prediction, let’s look back at the uniform combos OSU has worn so far.
