Video: Take a trip down memory lane with these 1993 Oklahoma State-TCU highlights

Gotta love when the Oklahoma State athletic department digs up old highlights.

The latest come from the 1993 game between the Cowboys and TCU, the last time the two schools met in football. OSU won the game, 27-22.

Three things:

This victory for OSU over the Horned Frogs made Pat Jones, at the time, the all-time winningest coach in school history. Interesting timing with Mike Gundy breaking Jones’ record the week before OSU and TCU meet for the first time since that 1993 contest.

True freshman Tone Jones was quarterbacking the Cowboys in this game. True freshman Wes Lunt may return from his knee/ankle injury against the Horned Frogs.

The uniform combination for this game is white helmet, black jersey, black pants. Could we perhaps see a nod to that contest with tomorrow’s look? I’m still banking on black-gray-black, but that would be a cool deal from the OSU equipment staff.

Enjoy.
