Uni tracker: Four weeks, four different helmets
Each week, we’ll look back at what uniform combination Oklahoma State wore and make a prediction for the next game. Nothing scientific about it. All in good fun.
Mike Gundy was right about that we hadn’t seen the last of the new logos on Oklahoma State’s helmets.
The Cowboys’ orange-white-orange combo featured the OSU logo outlined in black and white on the helmet, rather than the Pistol Pete logo we saw against Iowa State.
This now makes four consecutive weeks that OSU has worn a new or altered helmet.
Now, the Cowboys have just two home games remaining, which means only two more regular-season opportunities to wear the orange, black or gray jerseys.
We haven’t seen the apparently new-and-improved grays yet, and I don’t think we’ll see those on Senior Day. So that’s part of my pick for the West Virgina combo.
But making a complete prediction, let’s look back at what the Cowboys have worn the past two seasons.
