Tonight I will be at the Cashion-Community Christian football game in Norman.

This is exciting to me for a couple of reasons — 1. I haven’t covered a game yet this year, and 2. I’ve never seen an eight-man game before.

I know Cashion is a great team, with quarterback Cayden Cochran leading the way. Community Christian is really solid for an independent team, and should at the very least be a good challenge for Cashion.

Cashion is ranked number two in Class B, only behind powerhouse Morrison.

It will take a lot for CCS to pull an upset, but if this year has taught us anything (Appalachian State-Michigan), in football, anything can happen.
