It’s halftime here at State Fair Arena, where No. 5 John Marshall leads Morris 23-21. in a 3A boys high school basketball quarterfinal.

Morris led most of the first half, but John Marshall staged an 8-2 run to close the half.

UPDATE: JM escaped 63-52.

  Escaped??? i know im not there watching but leading throughout the 2nd half and winning by 11 doesn't constitute an escape in my book! give John Marshall credit!!!

  63-52 final.......... now maybe metro christian can pull the upset. either way i like john marshalls chances

  this has to be the longest timeout in history........... cox sports is still reporting 51-44 in the 4th.
