When KSBI lost out on the rights to broadcast the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association’s playoff games, it didn’t appear that the station would broadcast high school games anymore.

Today, the station announced it would stick with broadcasting high school football games, starting with the Sept. 4 Polo Bowl and Casady between the Cyclones and Heritage Hall.

A complete schedule for KSBI games:

Sept. 4: Heritage Hall at Casady

Sept. 5: McGuinness at Guthrie

Sept. 12: Southmoore at Westmoore

Sept. 19: Midwest City at Southmoore

Sept. 26: Edmond Memorial at Midwest City

Oct. 3: Weatherford at McGuinness

Oct. 9: Mustang at Norman North

Oct. 10: Clinton at Tuttle

Oct. 16: Tuttle at Newcastle

Oct. 17: Fairview at Heritage Hall

Oct. 23: Norman at Westmoore

Oct. 24: Putnam North at Mustang

Oct. 31: Stillwater at Choctaw

Nov. 7: Edmond North at Westmoore

Each broadcast will start with Oklahoma News Tonight at 5:30 live at the game, followed by the Tailgate show leading up to kickoff.

Cox sports has not released its schedule but it is expected once again to broadcast regular-season games. Fox Sports Southwest was awarded the rights to broadcast playoff games for the next three years, beating out bids by both KSBI and Cox.
