Former MWC standout Timothy Flanders looking like RB at Kansas State

Poking around online tonight and wemt searchign for some information on last year’s Oklahoman Big All-City offensive player of the year Timothy Flanders of Midwest City.

Flanders was committed to Tulsa (where his brother and former MWC standout as well John Flanders plays), but chose to go with Kansas State in the end.

Many around the Wildcats program thought Flanders would move to CB but he’s sticking at RB for now. There’s a chance he could redshirt there but, for now at least, looks like he’ll be a running back.

Good for him. He was one of the more enjoyable players to cover the last few years, not just for the on-the-field accomplishments but the kind of person he is off the field.
