NHS wins Volleyball Crosstown Clash; Softball teams meet tonight

First-year Norman High volleyball coach Staci Vest has her first marquee win following the Tigers victory over rival Norman North Tuesday.

Norman won the Crosstown Clash 25-13, 25-16, 16-25, 25-14 at the NHS Gym. The win was the second of the season for NHS (2-8), while the loss was the second of the season for North (9-2). Norman will try to keep the win streak going tonight at perennial power Edmond Memorial. The match starts at 6:30 p.m. North looks to rebound, hosting Christian Heritage tonight at 6 p.m.

Softball Crosstown Clash

Speaking of Crosstown Clash action, the Norman and Norman North fastpitch teams square off tonight at 6:30 p.m. The Timberwolves are hosting. Norman’s team is beyond young, as the roster is made up of just four seniors and no juniors.
