El Reno High School junior third baseman Maddie Stein is enjoying a strong start to the softball season. Stein is hitting .531 (34 of 64) for the No. 5 ranked Indians who should be in the mix for a state championship at next month’s Class 5A tournament.

Stein is a three-year starter for El Reno on its runner-up team last year and one that finished in the semi-finals the previous year. Stein has also played in the Canada Cup 16 and Under AFA competition. She carries a 4.16 GPA at El Reno.
