PC West, Ike move Week 7 game to Thursday

As one of the few games scheduled on the Friday night of Fall Break Oct. 16, Putnam City West and Lawton Eisenhower decided to instead play an afternoon game on Oct. 15 to give players, coaches and administrators Friday off to enjoy the break.
The game will be played at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, at Putnam City Stadium.
“It’ll be kind of weird,” said PC West senior lineman Jordan Coats. “Fall Break, no school, you want to sleep in. We’ll have to get up and be ready to play. We’ll get to sleep in on Friday at least.”
